These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Budget Zero ("the App"), an iOS application developed and operated by Grey Park LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. use of the app

Budget Zero is a personal budgeting tool that helps you allocate income toward expenses, savings, and debt repayment using a zero-based budgeting method. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the App.

2. accounts

Current versions of Budget Zero do not require a Budget Zero account or bank connection. You enter your accounts and transactions manually. An Apple Account signed in to iCloud is needed to sync data between devices, and an Apple Account is needed for App Store purchases. You are responsible for securing your devices and Apple Account and for activity carried out through them.

3. pro purchases, subscriptions, and trials

Budget Zero offers optional monthly and yearly subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase that unlock Pro features. Lifetime does not renew and has no recurring subscription fee. The available plans, features, local prices, and any introductory offer are shown before you purchase.

Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to the applicable App Store terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or after an eligible free trial ends, as shown on the purchase screen.
• Eligible monthly and yearly subscriptions offer a one-month free trial. Eligibility is determined through the App Store, and Lifetime does not include a subscription trial.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the applicable subscription price.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Apple's Settings app under your name → Subscriptions → Budget Zero. Deleting the App or clearing budget data does not cancel a subscription.
• Apple handles billing and refund requests. You can request a refund from Apple; eligibility is subject to Apple's policies and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
• You can restore eligible purchases using the restore purchases option in the App with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.

4. your data

You retain ownership of all budgeting data, financial information, and other content you enter into the App ("Your Data"). We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Data.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of Your Data. We recommend maintaining your own backups and not relying on the App as your sole record of financial information.

5. not financial advice

Budget Zero is a budgeting tool designed to help you organize and track your personal finances. The App does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Nothing in the App should be interpreted as a recommendation to take or refrain from taking any financial action. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. We recommend consulting a qualified financial advisor for advice specific to your situation.

6. intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, interface, and content (excluding Your Data), is the property of Grey Park LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

7. availability and updates

We strive to keep the App available and functioning properly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, modify, or discontinue the App (or any features within it) at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from changes to or unavailability of the App.

8. icloud sync

The App uses Apple iCloud to sync your budgeting data across your devices. iCloud syncing is subject to Apple's terms of service and requires an active iCloud account with sufficient storage. We are not responsible for data loss or sync issues caused by iCloud service disruptions or your iCloud account settings.

9. limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Grey Park LLC and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial loss, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, liability, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grey Park LLC from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

11. termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to limitation of liability and indemnification) shall survive.

12. governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Washington.

13. changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

14. severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
